Case Studies
IEEE Tech Frontiers: Currents in Conferences: Power, Photovoltaics, & AI
Event Format: Virtual (Tailored to Mandarin Speaking Audiences)
Supported with Interprefy
In December 2024, CEE hosted a virtual event called IEEE Tech Frontiers: Currents in Conferences: Power, Photovoltaics, & AI, tailored for a Mandarin Chinese-speaking audience. With 2,500 attendees, the event highlighted three distinguished IEEE conferences covering hot topics ranging from power, photovoltaics, and artificial intelligence. By incorporating an interpretation component into the virtual event, CEE made the content accessible to individuals who benefit from listening to information in their native language. This effort helped keep the Mandarin Chinese-speaking audience engaged and connected to the IEEE global conference community. It also strengthened relationships with regional experts and partners, highlighting the value of offering content in multiple languages.

IEEE Region 9 Rising Stars 2025
Event Format: In-Person
Supported with Wordly
In August 2025, CEE supported the Rising Stars Latin America Conference event by implementing Wordly, a real-time translation platform, for both Main stage and multiple concurrent breakout sessions. Attendees accessed translations via QR codes, enabling seamless participation in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. This approach enhanced accessibility for a diverse audience, fostering inclusive engagement and ensuring all attendees could follow the content in their preferred language. Positive feedback from attendees, organizers, and the A/V team highlighted Wordly’s impact, demonstrating the value of multilingual support and generating interest in future meetings and events with translation capabilities.
